Hoi! Mijn naam is Timo, ik ben 24 jaar en studeer Mechanical Engineering aan de Universiteit Twente. De afgelopen jaren heb ik geprobeerd alles uit mijn studententijd te halen, niet alleen op academisch vlak, maar juist ook daarbuiten.
Als actief lid van Audentis et Virtutis en DHC Drienerlo, én tijdens een parttime bestuursjaar, heb ik veel verantwoordelijkheid genomen. Daar heb ik geleerd hoe belangrijk het is om samen te werken, initiatief te nemen en jezelf écht te ontwikkelen. Die kansen gun ik iedere student.
De UT biedt gelukkig veel mogelijkheden om jezelf te ontplooien, vaak al zichtbaar tijdens de Kick-In. Maar dat moet zo blijven. Daarom is het cruciaal dat studenten meebeslissen over het beleid van de universiteit.
Vanuit die overtuiging wil ik me, samen met DAS, inzetten om jouw stem te laten horen op het hoogste niveau binnen de UT. Om ervoor te zorgen dat studentenbelangen écht meetellen!

Hi! My name is Timo, I’m 24 years old and I study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Twente. Over the past few years, I’ve done my best to make the most of my student life, not just academically, but especially outside the classroom.
As an active member of Audentis et Virtutis and DHC Drienerlo, and during a part-time board year, I’ve taken on a lot of responsibility. That’s where I learned the true value of collaboration, taking initiative, and personal growth. I believe every student deserves those same opportunities.
Luckily, the UT offers countless ways to develop yourself, often already visible during the Kick-In. But that should never be taken for granted. That’s why it’s crucial for students to have a voice in university policy.
With that in mind, I want to represent you, together with DAS, at the highest level within the UT. To make sure that student interests truly matter!
