I am Floor Rademaker, a second year Business Information Technology student. When I came to Enschede to study here, I knew I wanted to do more than only my studies. I joined student association A.S.V. Taste and become active there. In addition to making friends, having fun there and learning academic things at my studies, I also wanted to develop myself in a different way by doing committees and organising things. Doing this has taught me a lot about myself and has helped me develop professional soft skills. It helps build a network and builds experience.
As a student I think there’s a lot to learn from being active at associations, doing committees or joining a board, working together to organize. I believe that all students should be able to be active as a student in addition to their studies! We as DAS want to make this possible. Your ambition is our mission!
