Maartje van Delden

When I started my studies in Enschede, like many others, I had no idea what to expect. During the Kick-In, I was immersed in student life and I loved it. My house, the people, the atmosphere, the parties, and everything around it. Then I registered with Audentis and that’s when it really started! You quickly become close to your house and you form a year club. At the same time, I also had to focus on my study Technical Medicine. In the spring another sorority was added, the women’s sorority Pimpelle. Over the years I have been active on various committees at Audentis and held various jobs. I enjoyed organizing and arranging things so much that I chose to do a board year at the Student Union. Now, 5 years later after I started as an 18-year-old student in Enschede, I am very happy that I was able to gain all these experiences. I learned a lot from it myself and of course, also had a lot of fun. Within DAS I want to commit myself to this, so that everyone, just like me, can get the most out of their student days!

Maartje van Delden (1999) completed her bachelor’s degree in Technical Medicine in January 2021 and has just started her master’s degree. She is an active member of Audentis and has done several committees there, such as the Kick-In committee. In addition, Maartje is active in her annual club and Women’s Dispuut Pimpelle. Last year she worked as a board member at the Student Union with the Personal Development and Education portfolios and next year she will be in second place on the list of DAS.
