Lysette Scheepmaker

In 2019 I moved from Oldenzaal to Enschede to start my study Technical Medicine. Although Oldenzaal is only 25 minutes away from Enschede, I decided to move into rooms immediately, because I intended to get as much out of my student days as possible. During the Kick-In, I registered with Audentis and started playing hockey at DHC Drienerlo. Because of this, I discovered what Enschede has to offer as a student city and the ball of my activism started to roll. During the corona pandemic I was part of the full-time Kick-In committee of Audentis and I was able to set up a week full of wonderful activities. During this period I learned how much I enjoy organizing things and doing more than just studying. That is why I started a board year at DHC Drienerlo in the summer of 2021, where I can bear the title of chairman. As a representative of DHC Drienerlo, I came into consideration with DAS and I learned what it has to offer us as a sports association, and also to me as an individual student. DAS makes it possible for me to optimally combine my studies (because that is what we are all here for in the end) and my active student life. By voting for DAS you vote for your ideal student time!

Lysette Scheepmaker (2001) is in her third year of studying Technical Medicine. She became a member of DSCC/DJCR Audentis et Virtutis in her first year and was part of the Kick-In committee in her second year. She is currently president of student hockey association DHC Drienerlo.
